Rovio which is behind the success of the game Angry Birdsdemanded by firms from the United States (U.S.), Lodsys. Texas-based company says that the patent owner of a new level ofgaming in the version of Angry Birds. So that was launched through The Guardians, Sunday (07/24/2011).
Lodsys has submitted a file to a Texas court to prosecute the patent. But no mention whatever platform in Angry Birds includedviolating the patent by the company.
Not only that, Lodysys also demanded other mobile companies likelectronic Arts (EA), Atari, Square Enix and Take-Two Interactive.Total, there are five companies that claimed Lodys using his patentin selling mobile games.
According to the company, the patent is used in The Sims 3 forEA's iPhone, a compilation of Greatest Hits games for the iPhoneand iPad made by Atari, Big Hit Baseball's version of the iPhoneand iPad Square Enix and 2K Sports NHL 2K11 in the iPhone's Take-Two Interactive.
But until now there has been no comment from the Rovio about these cases that convolute them. This is the first case faced by the mobile companies are well known from the App Store. (okezone.com)
